Jack G. Dull, of Wales, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 78. He was born in Steuben, WI on February 22, 1940 the 4th of seven sons born to Gifford Ray and Theresa Theodore (nee Olson) Dull. Jack was a farm boy and grew up in southwest Wisconsin. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1958 until 1960 serving in Germany and was member of the American Legion Post 0220. He married the love of his life, Carlyn Belle (Sandvick) on July 31, 1982 at First United Methodist Church in Rhinelander. Jack worked as brick layer for 50 years and was a member of the BAC Local #8 where he was honored for his 50 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed deer hunting and especially loved caring for his pride and joy lawn.
He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 36 years, Carlyn of Wales, his mother-in-law Lorraine Sandvick of Rhinelander, brothers Gary, Jimmy and David Dull along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 14, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until time of the 1:00 p.m. funeral service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Graveside services will follow at Salem Cemetery in Wales. Memorials are appreciated to the family to be divided amongst charities close to Jack’s heart.
