James H. Burrow a lifelong Waukesha resident, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at the age of 74. He was born in Waukesha on February 12, 1943 the son of Herman and Catherine (nee Price) Burrow. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. James was a longtime employee of Spancrete where he worked as a crane operator. He enjoyed model trains and attending train shows.
He will be sadly missed by his sisters, Sharon (Edward) Grundman of Waukesha and Mary (Dennis) Majewski of Lexington, SC, his nieces and nephews, Tammy Last of Waukesha, Barbara (Timothy) Werner of Milwaukee, Scott Grundman of Waukesha, Karen (Rodney) Setum of North Prairie, Carrie (Chris) Popa of Lexington, SC and Cheri (Daniel) Herbert of Watertown. He is further survived by his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kayla, Justin, Kirsten, Stephanie, Zachary, Amanda, Bennett, Banks, Zoey and Dexter, his great-great-niece Kaylee and great-great-nephew AJ along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the 4:00 p.m. funeral service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha. Entombment with full military honors will be held Monday, March 6th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery. Please meet at the cemetery.
