James Mayer

James M. Mayer, 56, died Saturday December 23, 2006 at his Waukesha home. He was born October 3, 1950 in Evergreen Park, Illinois to Carl and Elizabeth (nee: Simecek) Mayer. He had attended Brandybrook Elementary School, and then graduated from Kettle Moraine High School in 1969. On March 25, 1972 he married the former Patricia Zsori. For 35 years he worked for Waukesha County, first as an orderly and then as a Maintenance worker until his retirement October 17, 2006. He enjoyed deer hunting and fly fishing. After high school he ran trap lines with his friends and traveled with the carnival for one season. He will be sadly missed by his wife Patricia of Waukesha and their children Eliza (William) Tobler of Sullivan, and Joseph (Megan) Mayer of Waukesha. He will also be fondly remembered by his 3 granddaughters Dallas Marie Tobler, Audrey Rose Mayer, and Elizabeth Ann Mayer. He is further survived by other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Elizabeth Mayer, his sister Sharon Baran, uncle James Simecek, grandparents Sim and Eliza Simecek, and Aunt and Uncle Lillian and Martin Sexton. Visitation will be held Friday December 29, 2006 from 4:00 PM until the 6:30 PM Memorial Service at Randle-Dable Funeral Home 1110 S. Grand Avenue Waukesha.
