James “Poet” Thomas Springer, of Waukesha, died unexpectedly on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at the age of 37 years. He was born in Waukesha on June 25, 1977 the son of Christopher Springer and Rhonda Chatfield. James enjoyed taking classes and worked as a welder. He was an avid skateboarder and snowboarder and loved dogs. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and was a proud member of the TROGS MC. James had a zest for life and was known for his caring and fun-loving spirit. He will always be remembered as a wonderful and loving son, brother, uncle and friend.
He will be sadly missed by his father Christopher (fiancée Dana Gordon) Springer of Mundelein, IL, his mother Rhonda Foster of Waukesha, his brothers, Matthew (Emily) Springer of Waukesha, Paul Springer of Waukesha and his step-sister Jessica Gordon of Mundelein, IL. He is further survived by his paternal grandmother Dorothy Springer of Satellite Beach, FL, his maternal grandfather Ronald Chatfield of East Troy, his nieces, Lexi and Alana Springer along with aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather John Springer and his maternal grandmother Ruthann Chatfield.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 from 11:00AM until the time of sharing and eulogies at 1:00PM at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. A procession will follow the time for sharing to Little Prairie Cemetery in Eagle for burial. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the family.
