James W. White of Waukesha, died Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at the age of 77. He was born on December 4, 1932 in Waukesha, the son of Milton and Mary (Lean) White, and was the former husband of Winifred (Wegner) White. James had fond memories of attending Waukesha High School, then went on to serve his country in the U.S. Army. He later resided in Wauwatosa for many years, working at Marshall and Ilsley Bank in Milwaukee until retirement. James will be deeply missed by his children: Douglas White of Arkansas, Kenneth White of Costa Rica, Marc (Therese) White of Cedarburg, and Catharine White of Shawano; grandchildren: Christine, Stephanie, and Charlie; and his brother, Milton (Caryl) White of California. Also very important in his life were his niece Diane Miller and nephew Scott Schroeder. He was preceded in death by his sister, Agnes, and his parents. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2010 from 1:00 PM until the 2:00 PM memorial service at First United Methodist Church, 121 Wisconsin Ave., Waukesha. Rev. Dan Schwerin will preside. His final resting place will be at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.
