Janaya Rose Rivest Esser, of Waukesha, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Saturday, June 08, 2013 at the young age of 5 years. She was born in Waukesha on December 28, 2007.
There are not enough words to describe the immense beauty, inner light, and strength that embodied Janaya. She was and forever will be the sweet innocent little girl that had the ability to touch the heart and soul of everyone that she came in contact with. She gave you the strength and courage to face any obstacle that was to ever come your way just by her smile, one touch of her hand, and with just her presence.
Janaya was and will forever be in the hearts of the ones she touched and remembered as that child that thought it was so funny to pick on her big sister and pull her hair, the child that just loved to be snuggled close, and adored to put your head in her lap as she patted it just smiling. Janaya had the gift to just brighten up and change ones day with just one hug.
Janaya Rose Rivest Esser you will be missed with every minute of every day for the rest of eternity. You and you alone have shown what the true definition of strength and happiness stands for. For being such a perfect little package you gave the biggest gift- just being who you are. You will always be my strength, my guide, and who I will always strive to be.
She will be forever missed by her parents, Tristin Maye-Proulx and Nick Rivest of Waukesha, by her sister Nevaeh Proulx of Waukesha, her grandmothers DeeDee Cotton of Florida and Kim Rivest Nolte of Waukesha and her great-grandmother Jean Cotton of Florida. Her grandfathers Kurt Keller of Sullivan and Jerry Maye of Alabama and Paul Nolte of Waukesha. She is further survived by her aunts and uncles, Debbie Stock (Tony Meyer), Rick Cotton, Amy Jo DeLaPaz, Anthony Cotton, Tiarra Maye, Robert Maye, Virginia Cotton, David “Niko” Agins Jr., James Rivest, and Stephanie Weare along with her cousins, Ryan Stock, Shannon Cross, Cristi Cotton, Cara Rehn, Cory Cotton, Kayla Miller, Charlie DeLaPaz and LaTesha DeLaPaz.
