Janice Ann Timmer, of Waukesha, was born to Eternal Life surrounded by her loving family at home on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at the age of 74 years. She was born in Burlington on July 18, 1938 the daughter of Francis and Caroline (nee Mich) Reiter. On August 26, 1961 she married Donald Timmer; he preceded her in death on September 10, 1993. Janice was a graduate of Cardinal Stritch University and worked at St. Luke’s Medical Center as a medical technologist for more than 30 years. She was a devout Catholic and longtime member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church.
She will be dearly missed by her children, David F. (Cheryl) Timmer of New Berlin, Sharon K. (John) Iglar of Appleton and Denise M. (Shane) Klundt of Hudson and her 7 precious grandchildren, Paul, Laura and Sarah Iglar of Appleton, Reed and Rylee Timmer of New Berlin and Benjamin and Daniel Klundt of Hudson. She is further survived by her brother-in-law Richard (Patricia) Timmer of Minneapolis, her sister-in-law Margaret (Ronald) Faber of Wilmot along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her husband Donald and her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law Dorothy and Dennis Larsen.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 from 4:00 until 7:00PM at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha. Visitation continues on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 from 10:00AM until the 11:00AM funeral Mass at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2400 West State Highway 59, Waukesha, WI 53189. The Reverend Kevin Barnekow will preside. Private interment will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date.
