Jason "Jay" Mesa

Jason “Jay” D. Mesa of Waukesha, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2011 at the age of 38.  He was born in Waukesha on December 6, 1972 to the late Paul and Lynne (nee: Grudzielanek) Mesa.  Jay was a 1991 graduate of Mukwonago High School. He was employed as a sales manager at Miller Mobility.  As a passionate artist, he donated works to local churches.  He loved to play the sax and always enjoyed a good cigar.  He was loved and will be sadly missed by his two brothers and three sisters:  Paul (Cindy Paukner) Mesa of Waukesha; Beth Ann (Timothy) St. Peter of West Bend; Christopher (Cara Crayne) Mesa of Waukesha; Patricia (David Teske) Martinez of Milwaukee and Renee (Jake Palubicki) Martinez of Waukesha.  Jay is further survived by his step-father Gilbert Martinez of Mukwonago; nieces and nephews: Jessica Lynne St. Peter; Mitchell St. Peter; Austin St. Peter; Timothy Crayne and a great niece Marley Ella Repsa; his godparents, George & Theresa Zmudzinski, aunts, uncles other relatives and many friends.  He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Mesa in 1973; his mother, Lynne M. Martinez in 1996 and his grandparents: Richard & Rose Grudzielanek, Pablo & Trinidad Mesa and Pascual & Dolores Martinez.  Visitation will be held on Friday, April 29, 2011 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, with a vigil service at 8 PM.  Services continue on Saturday, with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM then a procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a funeral Mass at 10 :30 AM.  Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery following the Mass.  If desired, Memorials may be made to the Donna Lexa Community Art Center, 247 Wisconsin Ave. Waukesha, Wi 53186.  For further information, please call Randle-Dable Funeral, Cremation and Preplanning Services at (262) 547-4035, or go to www.waukeshafunerals.com for directions or to leave an on-line tribute.
