Jay B. Blonigen of Milwaukee, formerly of Waukesha died unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at the age of 35. He was born in Oconomowoc on August 20, 1984 the son of Mark and Mary (nee Gillette) Blonigen. He was a 2003 graduate of Waukesha West High School and earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from UW-Milwaukee. Jay was a dedicated hard-worker and was a Funds Accountant for US Bank in downtown Milwaukee for the last 11 years. He enjoyed running, biking, traveling and was a friend to so many. He has shared stories of all the many, many fun trips with his friends. Even though Jay was a quiet man he had a witty sense of humor enjoyed by all. A special “thank you” to all who sent photos of their memories and times spent with him.
He will be sadly missed by his loving parents, Mark and Elaine Blonigen, his mother Mary Blonigen, his cherished sister, Sara Blonigen, and precious niece, Savanna. His two step-sisters, Renee McElwee and Rhonda Slechta. He is further survived by a very large family of numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
A celebration of Jay’s life will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. until time of the 1:30 p.m. funeral service.
