Jean Schumacher

Of Waukesha, found peace on Saturday, August 23, 2008 at River Hills West Health Care in Pewaukee at the age of 85.  She was born in Waukesha on June 19, 1923 the daughter of Elmer and Florence (nee Hood) Davis.  Jean was a devoted mother who enjoyed raising her children on her own following the death of her husband Orville at a young age.  She enjoyed playing bingo, playing cards, loved tending to her flowerbeds, and liked to travel. Jean will be sadly missed by her sons: Richard “Dick” Schumacher and Ronald “Ronnie” (Mary) Schumacher both of Waukesha, along with her brothers and sisters:  Hazel Selchert, Don Davis, Edgar (Joy) Davis, Ann (Jerry) Frank, Esther (Jimmy) Congdon, Shirley (Ben) Kroening, Nancy Smith, and Barbara (Jack) Wilhelm all of Waukesha.  She is further survived by her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Orville, brothers: Robert Davis and Roger Davis, sister Dorothy Jeffreys, and daughter-in-law Elizebeth Schumacher. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2008 from 4:00PM until 6:00PM, with the funeral service at 6:00PM at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, WI.  Graveside services will be held on Thursday at Tabernacle Cemetery in the town of Delafield. Memorials are appreciated to the family.
