Jeanette A. Belling, of Waukesha, died Thursday, July 2, 2015 at her home at the age of 77. She was born on May 12, 1938, in Caledonia, MN, the daughter of Orville and Eleanor (nee Papenfus) Runingen. She was a 40 year member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. On October 20, 1956 she married Robert W. Belling in West Salem, WI. She had worked as a baker in the cafeteria at Carroll College and for the past 20 years has been working at Culver’s in Muskego.
She will be sadly missed by her children Brenda (Ken) Mitchell of Waukesha, Perry (Cynthia) Belling of Dousman, Kevin (Annie) Belling of Wauwatosa, Carrie (Phillip) Bowey of Princeton, Colleen (Kent) Miller of Waukesha and Russell (Jennifer) Belling of Waukesha. Dear grandmother of Matthew (Amy) Belling, Amanda Mitchell, Megan (Christian) Uribe, Ashley Mitchell, Danielle (Ryan) Thornton, Kyle Belling, Brandon Bowey, Ava Belling, Caden Belling, Reid Belling and Brynn Belling. Loving great-grandmother of Merrik Belling. She is further survived by her sisters Oriel Lee (Andy) Huxman, Ethel (Wayne) Runingen; brother Lionel (Eydie) Runingen; best friends Marlene Fleishman, Ginny Krohn and Alice Kellog; her four legged companion Emma, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 8 from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. memorial service all at St Luke’s Lutheran Church, 300 Carroll St. Waukesha, WI 53186. Burial will follow the service at Prairie Home Cemetery. Memorials in Jeanette’s name are appreciated to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 1120 James Dr. Suite A, Hartland, WI 53029.
