Jeanette M. Horn

Jeanette May Horn (nee Smart) was born in Genesee Depot, WI on March 31, 1929 and passed away on February 5, 2020 at age 90. She was a life-long member of Genesee Congregational Church (UCC) where she was active her entire life as Sunday schoolteacher, pianist, organist and choir member. She retired from
Waukesha Foundry Co. in 1991 where she was employed for 41 years in the
sales department. During her retirement years she traveled extensively
and was very active in volunteer work at Waukesha Memorial Hospital and
Old World Wisconsin, as well as at other local organizations.

She is survived by her daughter Joelle Horn of Waukesha, brother Kenneth Smart
(Joan), and brother-in-law Herbert Horn, as well as many very loved nieces
and nephews and grand and great-grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded
in death by her husband Merritt and her brother Donald Smart.

Her body will be cremated and at her request there will be no formal service.
