Jennifer Lynn Hase

Jennifer Lynn Hase, of Waukesha, lost her long and courageous battle with brain cancer and died with her family by her side on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 46. She was born in Waukesha on October 12, 1967 the daughter of Wilbur and Sandra (nee Schrantz) Hase. Jennifer was a gradute of Waukesha South High School in 1986 and later of WCTC in Pewaukee where she was trained as a nurse. Jennifer worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant and as a Registered Nurse at Woodland Health Care Center in Brookfield for 25 years. She also worked at Golden Living Center in Milwaukee, and for Quality Living Home Care. She was a very caring person both in her work and family life. She was a great sister, daughter, aunt, and care giver. She loved to be outdoors and especially enjoyed taking care of her mom and dad’s flower gardens.
She will be sadly missed by her father Wilbur of Waukesha, her sisters: Teresa Crossman of Hartland, and Jolene Hase of Waukesha, her brother Wilbur Hase Jr. of North Prairie, and nieces: Shyann, Emily, Allie, Samantha, and Marina. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Sandra, and all of her grandparents.
Visitation will be held at St. Luke Catholic Church 18000 W. Greenfield Avenue Brookfield, WI on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 from 10:00AM until 11:45 AM. The funeral Mass will begin at 12:00 PM. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Elk Mound WI at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to National Brain Tumor Society, 55 Chapel Street, Suite 200, Newton, MA 02458.
