Martynski, Jerry W. of Mukwonago passed away on March 22, 2018 at age 73. He was born in Milwaukee on September 21, 1944 the son of Casimir and Salomea (nee Szara) Martynski. On June 9, 2001 he married his beloved wife Donna (nee Dankert). He will be sadly missed by his wife Donna, his son John (Carla) Martynski of Milwaukee, step-children, Aaron Maher of Vernon, and Rob (Kimberly) Maher of Vernon, 2 grandchildren Addison Maher and Ivy Martynski, other relatives and many friends. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps in Vietnam and as a ceremonial guard in Washington DC where he served in the honor guard for President John F. Kennedy’s funeral. Jerry worked for 30 years at Seaquist Closures in Mukwonago retiring as a manager. He later became a history and social studies teacher at Pius XI High School retiring in 2014. After his retirement, he continued as a volunteer at Pius XI. He remained interested in history and was an avid collector and painter of military miniatures. The memorial service will be held at Pius XI Catholic High School, 135 N. 76th St, Milwaukee, WI 53213 on April 14, 2018 at 10:00AM. Private family burial with full military honors will be at St. Adalbert Cemetery. Memorials are appreciated to Pius XI Catholic High School.
