Jo Ann Gummo

Jo Ann Gummo of Eagle passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at her home at the age of 63. She was born in Port Washington on August 17, 1955 the daughter of Joseph and Shirley (nee Berndt) Schroeder. She was a 1973 graduate of New Berlin West High School. On December 30, 1989 she married Robert Gummo in Waukesha, he died February 12, 2019. Jo Ann worked for Kohl’s Department Store and Direct Supply but dedicated most of her life to her family as a homemaker. Her family was her priority, pride and joy and she was a very good mother. Jo Ann loved to workout and take Zumba classes. She had a passion for animals and always loved to walk her dogs. Jo Ann will always be remembered as a loving a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Jason (Jennifer) Wicker of Littleton, CO and Michael (Cassandra) Biancuzzo of Waukesha, grandsons, Cole and Owen Wicker, her parents Joseph and Shirley Schroeder of New Berlin, brothers and sister, Mark (Lori) Schroeder of Wauwatosa, John (Terry) Schroeder of Vernon, Janet Wehr of New Berlin and Matthew (Carrie) Schroeder of East Troy. She is further survived by her nieces and nephews, Jennifer Schroeder, Jeanne Schroeder, Amy Schroeder, Ashley Schroeder, Toni Schroeder, Patrick (Katie) Schroeder, Shauna (Seth) Bourdo and Nichole Schroeder along with other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday April 27, 2019 at Randle Dable Brisk Funeral Home 1110 S Grand Avenue Waukesha WI 53186 from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:30 AM. Memorials are appreciated to HAWS (Humane Animal Welfare Society), 701 Northview Road, Waukesha, WI 53188.
