Joan M. Kastenholz

Joan M. Kastenholz, of Brookfield and 45 year resident of Elm Grove, died Sept. 12, 2015 surrounded by her loving family at age 82. She was born Aug. 7, 1933 the daughter of Jacob and Loretta (nee Gehl) Hagen. Joan loved her family and enjoyed vacationing at her family’s lake home on Pike Lake and Florida home in Naples.
Beloved wife of 60 years to Donald, loving mother of Mark (Jean), Mary Beth (Thomas) Walsh, David (Anne) and Greg (Kim). Dear grandmother of Jason (Megan) Kastenholz, Jennifer Kastenholz, Sheila Walsh, Noreen Walsh, Nicole Kastenholz, John “Jack” Walsh, Maura Walsh, Abby Kastenholz, Cara Walsh and Bobby Kastenholz and great-grandmother of Isabelle Kastenholz. Cherished sister of Mary Jean Pankratz and Phyllis Ribbens. Further survived by many other loving relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents and brothers Robert, Tommy, Jimmy, Donald and Howard Hagen.
Visitation Fri. Sept. 18th from 9:00 until 11:15AM at ST. MARY’S VISITATION PARISH, 1260 Church St., Elm Grove, WI 53122. Funeral Mass 11:30AM. Burial to follow at St. Mary’s Parish Cemetery.
