Joan Knors

of Dousman, died Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at Three Pillars Masonic Home in Dousman at the age of 77.  She was born on April 1, 1932 in Racine, the daughter of Charles and Ethel (nee: Breidinger) Smith.  Joan was united in marriage to James A. Knors on October 21, 1950 at Holy Name Catholic Church in Racine; he preceded her in death in 2000.  In 1949 she graduated from St. Catherine High School in Racine.  She has lived in Dousman since 1973.  Among her interests, were  reading and books, and she owned Fondy Paperback Book Exchange in Fon du Lac until her retirement in 1993.  Joan will be sadly missed by her children:  Linda Knors of Milwaukee, Randy (Marilyn) Knors of Myrtle Beach South Carolina, and Brian Knors of North Prairie; grandchildren:  Melissa, Nicholas, Gregory, Jeremy, Mercedes, and Noah; great-granddaughter Kinslie; sisters:  Doreen (Bernard) Archer of Gatesmills, OH and Susan (James) Schmoll of Idylewild, CA; great-aunt Joyce Breidinger; and many nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and many friends.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Christina Gibbs.  Visitation will be held on Sunday May 17, 2009 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Randle-Dable Funeral Home 1110 S. Grand Avenue Waukesha.  A Rosary Service will be held at 7:00 PM.  Visitation continues on Monday May 18 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Hwy 83 and Hwy D, Genesee Depot from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.  Fr. Mark Molling will preside. Interment will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery in Genesee.  Memorials may be made to Three Pillars 400 N.
