JoAnn Marie White, of Waukesha, died on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at LindenGrove at the age of 74 years. She was born in Milwaukee on May 20, 1939 the daughter of Dallas and Lucille (nee Wier) Hanan. JoAnn enjoyed the Waukesha County Fair and loved 4-H. She had a generous heart and was an avid volunteer for many organizations. She especially enjoyed volunteering with the Red Cross, working with the Girl Scouts and volunteering in the health rooms for the School District of Waukesha. JoAnn loved the arts, but most of all she enjoyed being with her family.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Martin White of New Mexico, Carol White of Chippewa Falls, Gerald (fiancee Shelly DePriest) White of Waukesha, Lynn Bales of Mukwonago, her son-in-law Richard Dietsche of Waukesha and daughter-in-law Nancy White of Waukesha. She was the dear grandmother of 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sister Dona Mae Hanan, her brothers Richard (Karen) Hanan, James (Tammy) Hanan and Kevin (Laura) Hanan along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward, her daughters Catherine White and Judith Dietsche, her son Steven, her sister Patricia Guenter and her parents.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2014 from 11:30AM until the time of the 1:00PM funeral service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha.
