Joanna G. Jahnz

Joanna G. Jahnz a longtime Waukesha resident passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at her home at the age of 95. She was born on July 13, 1922 the daughter of John and Anna Gryniewski. Joanna retired from Amron where she worked as a line inspector for many years. She was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Joanna enjoyed traveling and feeding the birds and loved square dancing and was a member of the C&H Swingin’ Singles Square Dance Club.

She will be sadly missed by her two sons, Gerald (Sheree) Jahnz of New Berlin and Daniel (Kathryn) Jahnz of Kohler, her three grandsons, Lee (Katie) Jahnz, Joseph (Rebecca) Jahnz and James “Jimbo” Jahnz and three great-grandchildren, Ivan, Abigail and Simon. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Edwin in 1983 and her brothers, Bernard, Adolf and Frank.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the 12:00 noon funeral service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha. Private entombment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
