JoAnne B Metz (Carlsen)

JoAnne B. Metz (Carlsen), died on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at the age of 80. She was the only child born to Joseph and Helen (nee: Hubert) Herold on November 2, 1943. JoAnne dedicated her professional life to nursing, specializing in pediatric care. Her talent and love for sewing and quilting were evident in the many quilts and projects she shared with her children and grandchildren. JoAnne was a great baker and found joy in baking and sharing treats with her family. 

Survivors include her loving husband, Robert J. Carlsen, and children, Conrad Metz, David (Nancy) Metz, Michele "Shelley" Metz, Robert (Karen) Carlsen III, Kari (Kurt) Larson and Chad (Kim) Carlsen. She is the proud grandmother to Joseph (Serena) Metz, Olivia Metz, (and their mother Dawn Marie Metz) Tony Metz, Nick Metz, Kayla (Justin) Swirth, Kassi (Hans) Becker, Canton (Lindsey) Larson, Remi Larson, Parker Carlsen Cade Carlsen and great-grandmother to Max and Teddy Metz, Harper Becker and Brody Swirth.

JoAnne's family would like to thank the ProHealth Care doctor's, homecare team, home hospice and AngelsGrace Hospice for their loving care.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Randle Dable Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave Waukesha from 2:00 PM until the 4:00 PM memorial service.
