John “Jack” A. Ebli of Mukwonago passed away peacefully Monday, December 12, 2016 with his family by his side at AngelsGrace Hospice at age 80. He was born in Loretto, MI on August 21, 1936 the son of August and Elizabeth (nee Schafer) Ebli. Jack was a 1953 graduate of Vulcan High School in Michigan. He proudly served his country in the United State Coast Guard. On September 16, 1967, he married Catherine “Carol” Seigner. Jack was employed by the Milwaukee Railroad as a switchman for 24 years. Jack has a passion for grass cutting and gathering wood for evening fireplace fires. He loved walking, golfing, 4-wheeling and snowmobiling in both Michigan and Mukwonago. Jack enjoyed “all” his motors and small engines to be well maintained and running smoothly. He ensured his children and grandchildren knew the value of honesty and hard work, teaching them through his actions. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and watching the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers.
He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 49 years, “Carol” of Mukwonago and their loving children Sharon Lizabeth Ebli and Marc Anthony Ebli and his grandchildren he cherished, Kenneth Michael Zylke III and Kirk John Zylke all of Mukwonago. He is further survived by his sister June (Larry) Tribelhorn of Moro, Oregon along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and associates. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Krystal Lee Zylke on August 5, 2016 and his brother William “Bill” A. Ebli on November 20, 2014.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the 6:00 p.m. funeral service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Father Mick Savio will preside. Private interment with full military honors will be held on Thursday at Oak Knoll Cemetery, Mukwonago.
