John N. “Johnny” Yatso, Jr. of Waukesha, died on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at the age of 24. He was born on January 13, 1985 in Milwaukee, the son of John Sr. and Linda (Meyer) Yatso. Johnny served his country as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps, serving three tours in Iraq. He had a love of animals, especially his Great Dane, Everitt (“like the mountain”). He was a caretaker of all who knew him. Johnny will be fondly remembered for his contagious laugh, big heart, and sensitive soul. Johnny will be deeply missed by his parents: Linda and John Yatso, Sr. of Waukesha; sisters: Amy Yatso of Oak Creek and Anna Yatso of Greenfield; maternal grandmother, Violet Meyer of Iowa; paternal grandmother, Marie Yatso of Kentucky; aunts and uncles: Steve Meyer and Denise Meyer, both of Iowa, Kay (Bill) Stilson of Ohio, James Yatso of Kentucky, Jean (Reed) Bonneville of Milwaukee, Robert Yatso of Las Vegas; and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 27, 2009 from 11:00 AM until the 2:00 PM funeral service at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, WI. Burial with military honors will follow the service at Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to H.A.W.S.
