Joseph “Big Andy” Pedroza of Waukesha found peace on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at AngelsGrace Hospice surrounded by the love of his family at the age of 45. He was born in Chicago, IL on January 24, 1973 the son of Juan and Elea (nee Delarosa) Pedroza. Andy loved to fish, was an excellent cook and was always the life of the party. He had a great sense of humor and almost everyone who knew him could tell you a story about his flip-flops “chanclas”. Andy touched the lives of many and he loved unconditionally. Above all, he loved his children and family and he will always be remembered as a loving and dedicated son, father, brother, uncle and friend.
He will be sadly missed by his children, Andres Pedroza, Elea Pedroza, Angel Ponce Lazu and Rafael Pedroza, his significant other, Lici Lazu and former spouse and dear friend Gina M. Sanchez-Juarez, all of Waukesha, his mother Elea Pedroza of Waukesha, his brother John (Rosemary) Pedroza of Milwaukee, nephew Tyler Pedroza, goddaughter Alicia Meraz, along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Juan and his brother Rafael.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 12:00 noon until time of the 2:00 p.m. funeral Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 N. East Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186. A continued celebration of Andy’s life will follow the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the family for the benefit of his children.
