Joseph J. “Joe” Kinateder, of Nevada City, California, formerly of Waukesha, died unexpectedly on Sunday, August 2, 2009 at the age of 27. He was born on July 7, 1982 in Milwaukee, the son of Fred and Mary (Lindquist) Kinateder. Joe graduated from Catholic Memorial High School in 2000 where he played on the varsity soccer team for three years. He had a love of all sports, but especially enjoyed skiing, hiking and the outdoors. In 2008, he moved to California. Joe will be deeply missed by his parents, Fred and Mary of Waukesha; his brothers: Fred (Meghan) Kinateder of Pewaukee, and Mike Kinateder of Waukesha; nephew, Will Kinateder; grandmother, Mary Scheele of New Berlin; and his girlfriend, Danielle Bessone of Nevada City, CA. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Joe is preceded in death by grandparents: Gordon and Ruth Lindquist and Fred Kinateder. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2009 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Ave., Waukesha. Visitation continues at on Friday, August 7, 2009 at the church from 10:00 AM until the 10:30 AM Funeral Mass. The Very Reverend James T. Volkert and The Very Rev. Paul B. R. Hartmann will preside.
