Josephine Doherty

Waukesha-Josephine Doherty age 84, a long-time Town of Brookfield resident, died Friday, October 6, 2006 surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Joseph and Mary (nee Viktor) Rosecky on May 16, 1922 in Germantown. She was a graduate of MATC, where she earned her Associates Degree in Accounting. For many years Josephine worked as a Bookkeeper for Bruce Pollock Realty. She was a veteran of WW II, serving in the W.A.V.E.S. She met and married Robert Doherty in 1952. Josephine was a long-time member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waukesha. She is lovingly survived by her children: Bob (Elizabeth) Doherty, John (Hau) Doherty and Patty (Jim) Bublitz; grandchildren: Robert and Emily Doherty and Sarah and Mary Bublitz and a special niece Judy (Deacon Ron) Hesson. Other relatives and friends also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband in 1972, her son James, daughter Mary, sister Mary Javorsky and brother Frank Rosecky. Visitation for Josephine will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2006 from 4:00 - 6:00 P.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 N. East Avenue, followed by the 6:00 P.M. Funeral Mass.
