Josephine "Jo" Camacho

Josephine “Jo” Camacho of Waukesha passed away peacefully on Friday, May 24, 2024 at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 80. She was born in Thrall, TX on March 17, 1944 the daughter of Delfino and Petra (nee Cruz) Gonzales. On July 17, 1965 she married Tomas C. Camacho; he preceded her in death on June 17, 2020. Together they were members of St. Joseph Catholic Church since their marriage. Jo worked for Ventura Foods for 22 years and raised her family of 5 children. She enjoyed playing cards, crafting, movies, and vacationing with her friends. Her greatest joy was her family and she enjoyed following her grandchildren’s various activities. 

 She will be sadly missed by her children, Yolanda (the late Don) Crouse, Tomas (Jacquie) Camacho, Lisa (Ken) Fenske, Daniel (Yvonne) Camacho and Marcia (Andrew) Ippolite; her grandchildren, Donald (Jessie) Crouse III, Jessica (Tony) Steinbrecher, Quinton (Emily) Camacho, Carson Camacho, Aidon Camacho, Mona Delsman, Marissa Delsman, Calli Delsman, Jordan Fenske, Vanessa Camacho, Nathan Camacho, and Stella and Bruno Ippolite; and great-grandchildren, Donnie IV, Joseph, Priscilla and Callum Crouse and Autumn Steinbrecher. She is further survived by her brothers and sisters, Janie Hernandez, Steve Gonzales, Louise Sanchez, Jessie (Mel) Garza, Petra Camacho and Manuel (Kathy) Gonzales; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and beloved friends. In addition to her husband Tomas and her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Angel and Marty Gonzales and sister Pauline Llanas.

 Visitation will be held on Monday, June 3, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until the Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m. at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Visitation continues Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 N. East Avenue, Waukesha from 9:30 a.m. until the 10:30 a.m. funeral Mass. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
