Joy L. Madrigal, of Waukesha, died on Friday, February 20, 2015 at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital at the age of 65. She was born in Pewaukee on May 11, 1949 the daughter of Harry and Evalyn (nee Jerstad) Herker. She was a graduate of Pewaukee High School, attended one year at University of Wisconsin-Madison and continued her studies at Carroll College earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 1971. Joy met the love of her life 40 ½ years ago, they were united in marriage in 1979, sharing 35 years together.
She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Anthony Madrigal of Waukesha and their son Ross Anthony Madrigal of Baraboo. She is further survived by her brother Barry Herker, other relatives and many lifelong friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Gail Beltran.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2015 from 2:00PM until the time of the 3:00PM memorial service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha. Pastor Jennifer Arnold will preside. Private interment will be held at Prairie Home Cemetery.
