Joyce C. Egan

Joyce C. Egan of Waukesha was born to Eternal Life on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at the age of 89. She was born in Carroll, Iowa on November 24, 1928 the daughter of Clarence and Clara (nee Renze) Wiese. On December 29, 1948 she married Robert Egan in Fonda, Iowa; he preceded her in death on July 3, 1981.

She will be sadly missed by her four daughters, Sandy (Mike) Curren, Pat (Russ) Owen, Cheryl Egan and Kathy Hagberg, her seven grandchildren Heather (Ray) Miller, Kelly (Jim) Moran, Sean (Michelle) Curren, Sarah (Joel) Wilke, Shannon (Lenny) Alvarado, Michael Todd Hagberg and Kaitlyn Hagberg and 10 great-grandchildren, Dan, Aidan, Kiera, Bryce, Hailey, Mason, Lauren, Cameron, Mia and Elano. She is further survived by her sister Ruth Ann Schmidt along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband Robert and her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Robert J. “Bobby” in 2003.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. followed by the 12:00 noon funeral Mass all at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. Father Howard Haase will preside. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated for Masses in Joyce’s name.
