Joyce Rogers Menick of Waukesha passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 91. She was born in Waukesha on November 22, 1926 the daughter of Arnold and Sylvia (nee Lentz) Rogers. In October of 1950, she married Bob Menick, he preceded her in death in 1990. Joyce started working for Waukesha Engine in 1947, retiring in 1983, leaving for a short time to have a family. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, playing bingo at area churches and working outside in her yard.
She will be sadly missed by her brother Kenny Rogers of Dousman, brother-in-law Paul Sussek of Waukesha, very special niece Debbie (Ray) Kuechler of Genesee, her good friends, Pam Golner and Carol (Gene) Kuehn along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends in Wisconsin and Indiana. In addition to her husband Bob, she was preceded in death by her two sons, Scott in 1963 and Robert in 1977, her brother Arnie (Rita) Rogers, sisters Marlene Sussek, Judy Rogers, Gloria Haach and Sharon Stebbins and sister-in-law Barb Rogers.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 31, 2018 from 10:00 AM until the funeral service that will begin at 12:00 PM at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha. Entombment will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery. Memorials in Joyce’s name are appreciated to the Salvation Army, 445 Madison Street, Waukesha, WI 53188.
