Juan Francisco Lara passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at the age of 69. He was born on October 26, 1951 in Lubbock, Texas the son of Enrique Solis and Augustina (nee Romero) Lara. Juan was an exceptional man; always there for his family, friends, and anyone who needed a hand. He was his family’s hero, rescuer and took care of anything they needed. He will be remembered for his athleticism and love for basketball, golf and especially softball. He enjoyed playing Sheepshead with his same friends for over 30 years. In August of 2010, he met the love of his life, Denise Dennis. On November 3, 2012 they married in Wauwatosa, surrounded by their closest family and friends.
He will be greatly missed by his wife Denise Lara, his children Dana Marie (Eddie Baez-Gallardo) Lara, Maya (Kevin Ivers) Lara, Jenna Lara, Nichole (Chris) Ainsworth and Paul (Abbie) Hampton. Grandchildren Eric Lara-Bigelow, Nathen Lara-Baez-Gallardo, Isabella Ainsworth, Avery Ainsworth, Max Hampton, and Lennon Hampton. He is further survived by his sisters Delfina (the late George) Rodriguez, Maria (Lupe) Castillo, Lydia Martinez and brother Ubaldo Lara, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Due to the current health crisis a private family gathering will take place.
