Juan Ramon “Ray” Rodriguez, of Waukesha, died on Friday, February 15, 2019 at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 60. Born on June 15, 1958, in Crookston, Minnesota he was the son of Gregorio and Delfina (nee Carrillo) Rodriguez. He had worked for Dresser Industries for many years in the printing department and Target warehouse in Delafield. Where he had made many close friends. Ray was an avid sports card and memorabilia collector, enjoying the moments with his friends at Waukesha Sportscards. Ray enjoyed going out and antiquing, watching and collecting movies, but most of all, spending time with his family and friends.
He will be sadly missed by his parents Gregorio and Delfina Rodriguez, his siblings Gregorio Rodriguez Jr., Isabel (Harold) Diament, Claudia (Luis) Herrera, Gloria Arn, Maria Rodriguez, Silvia (Jeff) Schueler, Christina Rodriguez and Gabriel Rodriguez. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his infant brother Richard Rodriguez.
In the last few months of Ray’s life he realized the real importance in life. Faith in Jesus Christ as his personal savior. At every chance he shared his faith with those he was with. He wanted every soul to know that “JESUS IS REAL!”
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 from 10AM until the Memorial service at 12PM at Bridge Church (1314 S. Grand Ave. Waukesha). A luncheon in the church café will follow. Memorials to the family are appreciated.
