Juanita Marie Saunders of Waukesha passed away on May 26, 2019 at the age of 88. Juanita was born Nov. 11, 1930 in Waukesha to George and Evelyn Wrighton. Juanita graduated from Waukesha High School in 1948, and married Ralph Ladewig on June 10, 1950. They raised four daughters. Juanita enjoyed watching the Packers and Brewers, golf and NASCAR. She rarely missed an episode of Jeopardy. She was an excellent cook and seamstress. She had a special interest in wolves and huskies, and her dog, Niki, was a beloved companion for many years. Juanita loved her family, and always went out of her way to make sure that everyone got a card on their birthday and a gift at Christmas. She also made sure that none of her grand-pets were ever without treats.
Juanita is survived by her daughters, Eileen (Rick) Lankow, Nancy (Alvin) Roberts, Karen (Robert) Lang, and Sue (Dave) Christensen; grandchildren Mandy Nelson, Ray (Jessica) Lankow, Lynne Roberts, Gwen (Jake) Plenke, and Tami (Ryan) Peterson; great-grandchildren Jacob, Grace, and Naomi Lankow, Kirstey and Stephanie Nelson, Dakota and Jayden Brandos, Emma Maly, and Dylan and Isabella Peterson, and several dear friends.
Visitation will be open on Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 3:30 until 6:30pm at Randle-Dable Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. A private service and burial will be held separately for family.
