Rev. Judith Ann Crowley of Waukesha passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at the age of 60. She was born in Evanston, IL on September 2, 1956 the only child of Allen and Ethel (nee Anderson) Koch. Judith was a graduate of UW-Eau Claire and the Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago. She was ordained as a Lutheran pastor at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church and served as the pastor of Lake Park Lutheran Church on the eastside of Milwaukee and at Galilee Lutheran Church in Pewaukee. Judith also served as the Lutheran Chaplain at Marquette University. In addition to her pastoral care, Judith was a registered nurse and worked at several different hospitals. She was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church and was proud to be a facilitator for Healing Hearts of Waukesha County.
She will be sadly missed by her children Erin (Sean Newton) Crowley of Oregon and Sean James Crowley of Milwaukee and their father Timothy Crowley of Waukesha along with many friends and co-workers. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 5:00PM until the time of the 6:00PM memorial service at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 300 Carroll Street, Waukesha, WI 53186. Pastor Doug Andersen will preside. Private graveside services and burial will take place on Friday, July 7th at St. Joseph Cemetery, Waukesha.
