Judith "Judie" A. Higbee

February 7, 1940 — May 4, 2016

Judith A. Higbee, of Delafield, formerly of Waukesha, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at age 76. She was born on February 7, 1940 the daughter of Donald A. and Charlotte O. (nee Ott) Renner.

Judith was a graduate of Waukesha South High School and attended UW-Stout. She worked for many years doing merchandising for K-mart and then Crossmark. She enjoyed traveling and was an avid water skier, claiming to have skied well into her seventies. Judith loved to meet with her friends for card club, reading books and playing with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons Michael (Kristina) Higbee and Donald (Karen) Higbee; grandchildren Jackson Higbee, Alexandra Higbee, Charles Higbee and Stephanie Higbee; and brother Thomas Renner. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jerry Renner and father of her sons, Glenn Higbee.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 12:00 noon at First Congregational UCC of Oconomowoc, 815 S. Concord Rd. Oconomowoc, WI 53066. Friends and family may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Her final resting place will be at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha. Memorials are appreciated to the Okauchee Lions Park Campaign Fund.
