June J. Fox

June Janet Fox (nee Barber), of Oconomowoc, died on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at the home she shared with her daughter at the age of 93 years. She was born in Oshkosh on July 21, 1920 the daughter of Glen and Ethel (nee Daufen) Barber. June worked several jobs including working as an optical assistant, selling organs and selling make-up. She also owned her own fitness company called Foxy’s Fitness Center. June loved to dance, especially line and ballroom dancing. She also loved animals and her cats were very special to her. June knew how to live life to the fullest and was know to many as “Junebug” or “Foxy”. She had a light about her that would make anyone smile. She was a friend to everyone and was the best mother anyone could ask for.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Marsha (the late Larry) Schewe of Baton Rouge, LA, Kathyrne Fox of Oconomowoc, Brad (Karen) Fox of Madison and Brian (Susan) Fox of South Beloit, IL, her five beautiful grandchildren, Dustin (Christy) Schewe, Chad Schewe, Ryan Schewe, Katie (Jeremy) Budrow and Jake (Desiree`) Herron, and her great-grandchildren, Tristan, Avery and Lily Schewe and Baby Herron on the way. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Donald (Elaine) Barber.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30, 2013 from 12:00 Noon until the time of the 2:30PM funeral service at White Stone Community Church, 2517 N. Dousman Road Oconomowoc, WI 53066. Pastor Luke Dye will preside. Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 31st at 10:00AM at Eastlawn Cemetery, 2200 Milwaukee Rd., Beloit. Please meet at the cemetery.
