Karen L. Hoenk of Waukesha, died Saturday, December 12, 2009 at her home at the age of 52. She was born on June 20, 1957 in Wilmette, IL, the daughter of Edward and Joan (Allen) Lodge. Karen previously worked as a teacher in the Montessori School System in Rose Hall, Wilmette, prior to moving to Wisconsin. She was an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waukesha. Karen will be deeply missed by her husband, Alan Hoenk of Waukesha; her parents: Ted and Joan Lodge of Wilmette, IL; her children: Shannon Lobough, Tiffany Nodell, Jacqueline Nodell, Garrett Nodell, Bennett Nodell, Lisette Hoenk, and Cozette Hoenk; grandchildren: Lilia and Henry Lobough, and Quinn Toman; step-children: Alison and David Hoenk; and her brother, Mark Lodge. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 from 5:00 PM until the 6:00 PM funeral Mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Ave., Waukesha, WI.
