Kathaleen E. Danielson, of Mukwonago, formerly of Muskego, died on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital at the age of 89. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on March 30, 1925 the daughter of John and Edna (nee Kenny) Hagen, Sr. Kathaleen was a hard-worker and was employed in Muskego for many years at restaurants, a grocery store and a bank. In her retirement, she enjoyed babysitting and volunteering. She was a great cook and was a very proud grandmother. She was a longtime member of First Congregational United Church of Christ in Waukesha where she enjoyed participating in many activities. Her family was her pride and joy and she will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.
She will be sadly missed by her sons, Ronald (Mary Koehler) Danielson of Milwaukee and Timothy (Kathryn) Danielson of Fredonia and her grandchildren, Michael (Nicole) Danielson of Sun Prairie, Kristin (David) Overbeck of Brookfield, Amanda Danielson of Milwaukee and Dayna Danielson of Wauwatosa and her great-granddaughter Jada Danielson. She is further survived by her sisters, Beatrice Dorsey of Union Bridge, Maryland and Patricia (Vernon) Shaffer of Westminster, Maryland, her husband Reuben, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Paul Hagen, Leonard Hagen, Ruth Ecklund, William Hagen and infant sister Dorothy.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 10:00AM until the time of the 12:00 noon funeral service at the First Congregational UCC, 100 E. Broadway Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186. Reverend Brittany Barber will preside. Private interment will be held Saturday afternoon at Oak Knoll Cemetery, Mukwonago. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to First Congregational UCC.
