Katherine "Kay" E. Welch

Katherine Eva Welch, 85 of Waukesha, known as Kay to her friends, and Granni by her family; walks in peace with her Father in heaven. Granni lived a diverse life; from traveling around the US with her family as a child, to entertaining as Lilac the Clown, sharing her love for Jesus, and weathering her family’s traditional shenanigans. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Charles and Helen, step-father, Vic, and brother, Doug, and is survived by siblings, Carol, Charlie, Debbie, and Penny, 7 children, 22 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. Granni’s laughter, smiles, and yearly happy birthday song will be remembered and missed. Services will be held with visitation will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 1:00 PM-2:00 PM at the Bridge Church, 1314 S. Grand Ave Waukesha with the memorial service following at 2:00 PM. Her life and love will also be celebrated on a future date at the 2022 family reunion in Stoddard Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the United for Waukesha Community Fund.
