Kathleen Huber

Kathleen Ann Huber, of Delafield, died on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at her home at the age of 84.  She was born in Milwaukee on March 24, 1928 the daughter of William and Genevieve (nee Dobner) Delaney.  She was a 1946 graduate of Washington High School and worked for the phone company until her marriage to John “Hans” Huber in 1950.  Kathleen was very artistic and creative.  Most of all she will always be remembered for her strong commitment to her family.  She will be sadly missed by her husband Hans of Delafield, her children, Kathy (Donald) Schaf of Sussex, Chris (Kevin) Schneider of Burlington, Sue Huber of Pewaukee, Judy Huber of St. Paul, MN, Joan (Keith) Judy of Los Angeles, CA, Diane (Steve) Sonnheim of Mukwonago and John (Heidi) Huber of Delafield, her 17 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  She is further survived by her sisters and brother, Nancy Muelhbauer of Marshfield, Carol Murdoch of Cudahy, Patricia (Ervin) Benish of Hubertus and William (Mary) Delaney of Cedarburg, her son-in-law Paul Mente along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Jeannie Mente and her grandson Michael Mente.    Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 5:00PM until the 7:00PM funeral Mass all at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church,  120 Nashotah Road, Nashotah, WI 53058.  Rev. Michael Strachota will preside.
