Kathleen E. Marish

Kathleen E. Marish, of Waukesha, died peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, August 7, 2015 at her home. She was 65. Kathy was born in Waukesha on September 21, 1949, the daughter of Amford and Janet (nee: Dexter) Staffeldt. She graduated from Waukesha South High School. On November 28, 1970 she married Ronald Marish at St. William Catholic Church in Waukesha. She was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church where she enjoyed participating in the quilting group. Kathy trained for five years and was very proud to summit Mt. Timpanogos, an 11,752 foot high mountain in Utah. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her four grandchildren.

She will be sadly missed by her loving children, Ron Marish Jr. of North Carolina and Julia (Scott) Villinski of Brookfield. She was the dear grandmother of Morgan, Andrew and Hannah Villinski, and Cameron Zielke. She is further survived by her brothers: James (Marj) Staffeldt of Oconomowoc, and Brian (Sandy) Staffeldt of Waukesha, sisters: Patty (the late James) Sobrofski of Wales, and Sally (Warren) Staffeldt-Mollenhauer of Wauwatosa. She will also be missed by her brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald, her parents, and her step-father George Murdock.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at St. Luke Catholic Church, 18000 W. Greenfield Ave., Brookfield, WI 53045 from 10:00AM until 10:50AM followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00AM. Father Kenneth J. Augustine will preside. Graveside services will follow the Mass at Prairie Home Cemetery.
