Kathleen “Kathy” Anne Hoffman, of Waukesha, died on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 67 years. She was born in Phillips, WI on October 11, 1945 the daughter of William and Jeanette (nee Haveman) Rogan. On October 7, 1967 she married Paul Hoffman; he preceded her in death in 1971. Kathy was a graduate of St. Mary’s nursing school in Madison and worked as a nurse in the emergency room at Waukesha Memorial Hospital and then at Waukesha Engine. She enjoyed playing bridge with her bridge club and participated in the Waukesha LOBS Club (Last of the big spenders). Kathy was a member of St. William Catholic Church.
She will be sadly missed by her children: Laura (Keith) Anderson, Christine (Ken) Kramer and Michael Hoffman all of Waukesha, her grandchildren: Natasha Anderson, Brianna (Ricky) Kafer, Mikayla Anderson and Haley, Evan and Paul Kramer. She is further survived by her brothers and sisters Patricia (Willard) Lenz of Fort Atkinson, Dennis Rogan of Sun City West, AZ, Robert (Noreen) Rogan of Yonkers, N.Y., Barbara Rogan of Waukesha, Peggy Rogan of Waukesha and Mary (Thomas) Helgerson of Racine along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents William and Jeanette Rogan.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 from 4:00 PM until the 7:00 PM Rosary Service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Services continue on Thursday, April 11, 2013 with prayers at the funeral home beginning at 9:15 AM followed by a procession to St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha for the 10:00 AM funeral Mass. Burial will be held at 12 Noon Friday April 12, 2013 at Resurrection Cemetery 2705 Regent Street Madison WI.
