Kathryn Bralick

Kathryn J. Bralick, lifelong Waukesha resident, died on Monday, January 9, 2012 at Season’s Hospice at the age of 81. She was born in Waukesha on November 15, 1930 the daughter of Frank and Mary (nee Adler) Markle. On July 25, 1953 she married Michael Bralick; he preceded her in death on October 2, 2006. Kathryn was a longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Church where she was involved with the church prayer group and along with her husband spent countless hours volunteering for the funeral luncheon program. She liked gambling and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.  She will be sadly missed by her children: Mary (Thomas) Collins of Waukesha and James (Anne) Bralick of Stone Bank; five grandchildren, Michelle Bralick of Waukesha, Karie Collins of Waukesha, Amy (John) O’Brien of Waukesha, Caitlyn Bralick and Jack Bralick both of Stone Bank; and two great-grandsons, Patrick and Thomas O’Brien of Waukesha. She is further survived by her brothers, David (Charlotte) Markle of Nashotah and Frank (Mary) Markle of Florida, her sister-in-law Agnes Markle of Oconomowoc along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband Michael, she was preceded in death by her son Michael Bralick, Jr. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 13, 2012 from 11:00AM until the 1:00PM funeral Mass at St. Mary Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186. Graveside services will immediately follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. If desired memorials are appreciated to St. Mary Catholic Church (address above).
