Keith W. Cravillion

August 14, 1949 — November 19, 2016

Keith W. Cravillion of Brookfield died unexpectedly on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 67. He was born in Milwaukee on August 14, 1949 the son of Howard and Dolores (nee Kunshire) Cravillion. He proudly served his country in the United States Army Military Police serving in Germany during the Vietnam War. On October 25, 1969, he married Holly Rich in Milwaukee. Keith worked for many years for Veolia North America as an Electrical Controls Engineer. He loved music and was a member of two bands, Mother’s Worry and Teddy and the Ruffriders, where he enjoyed singing and playing the bass guitar. Along with his family he loved going to car shows and was proud of his 1957 Chevy that he fully restored. A man of strong faith, he was passionate about the Lord and enjoyed doing an in-home bible study based on Jewish roots. Keith always put others first, and cherished the time he spent with his family. He will always be remembered for his generous heart, his love for his family and the Lord and as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend to many.

He will be deeply missed by his wife of 47 years Holly of Brookfield and their children, Matthew Cravillion of Watertown, Kristen (Jeff) Adam of Wauwatosa, Douglas (Kristy) Cravillion of Sussex and Geoffrey (Shawna) Cravillion of Waukesha and his grandchildren, Gabrielle Adam, Carter Cravillion, Elisabeth Adam, Bennett Cravillion, Paige Cravillion and Sydney Cravillion. He is further survived by his brother Ken (Margarita) Cravillion of Tucson, AZ along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his two infant children and his parents.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 5:30 p.m. until the time of the 7:00 p.m. funeral service at Bridge Church, 1314 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Pastor Todd Pope will preside. A dessert reception will follow the service. Interment will be private for the family with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Bethesda Lutheran Communities, 600 Hoffmann Dr., Watertown, WI 53094.
