Keith L. Faubel of Waukesha died on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Seasons Hospice at the age of 65. He was born in Milwaukee on November 2, 1951. He was a 1970 graduate of Washington High School and attended Concordia University before proudly serving his country in the United States Air Force. Keith took many safety/defensive driving courses and had 32-plus years of commercial driving experience, including dump truck, tractor-trailer, commercial bus and limousine. He drove bus for many years for Badger Coaches, All State Lines, Riteway Bus Service, Wisconsin Coach and Greyhound and received many safety awards. Keith was also proud to be a City of Milwaukee police officer for 10 years. He enjoyed model train building, being outdoors and officiating, coaching and umpiring sports.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 9 years, Julie (nee Nelsen) Faubel of Waukesha, his children Kevin Faubel of St. Francis, Kirk (Becky) Faubel of Kirkwood, MO, Angela (Ray) Wilborn of Waukesha and Danielle Maile of Waukesha. He was the proud grandfather of Aaron Faubel, Mickey Alvarado, Taylor Faubel, Alli Alvarado, Bryson Daigh, Matthew Alvarado, Gina Wilborn, Kaylee Maile, Chase Maile, Lukas Maile, Sobella Kaufman and Abigail Faubel. He is further survived by his sister Juliette Leidel along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy (nee Ellison) and by his step-father John Petro.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 12, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the 7:00 p.m. funeral service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha. Full military honors will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the family.
