Kenneth “Ken” David Fuller of Waukesha passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the age of 88. He was born in Waukesha on February 21, 1929 the only child of Herbert and Viola (nee Wegner) Fuller. He was a 1947 graduate of Waukesha High School. Ken proudly served his country in the 11th Airborne Division of the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion DJ Martin Post 8 where he served as commander three times. On July 25, 1953 he married his beloved wife Dorothy Kopshinsky; she preceded him in death on February 8, 2011. He was a longtime member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church. Ken was an extremely hard worker and led a successful career with his family in land development. He loved running equipment and was most at peace when he was operating machinery.
He will be sadly missed by his son William Fuller and daughter Judith Fuller both of Waukesha, his grandsons Daniel Whiting of Waukesha, Kenneth (Kayla) Fuller of Muskego and Kyle (Alyssa) Fuller of Waukesha. He is further survived by his brother-in-law Ted (Judy) Kopshinsky, sisters-in-law Shirley Kopshinsky and Connie Kopshinsky, “adopted” son Ramon Ramirez and his best friend Bryce Gigous along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his wife Dorothy, he was preceded in death by his son Robert “Bobby” Fuller on January 30, 2005 and his parents.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the 1:00 p.m. funeral service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha. Pastor Lawrence Gates will preside. Burial with full military honors will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery.
