Kenneth "Ken" Roberts

Kenneth J. “Ken” Roberts, of Waukesha, died on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 84 years. He was born in Waukesha on November 7, 1927 the son of the John W. and Elsie (nee Vandorf) Roberts. He was a 1946 graduate of Waukesha High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. On October 20, 1956 he married the former Ruth Hughlett at First Congregational Church in Hartland. Ken worked for Dale Chevrolet, International Harvester and as a union carpenter. He was a member of the Carpenters Union Local 344 where he was past Steward and Trustee and was a member of the Carpenters Bowling League at Totem Bowl. He served as a delegate to the Trades of Labor Council with the AFLCIO.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Ruth of Waukesha and their three sons: John (Lisa) Roberts of Waukesha, Gene (Joyce) Roberts of Concord, WI and Gerald (Mary) Roberts of Milwaukee and two grandsons: Timothy and James Roberts of Concord, WI. He is further survived by his brother Harold (Karen) Washburn of Iola, WI along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother David (Geraldine), his sister Donna (Willard) Teuteberg and brothers-in-law Thomas and Charles Hughlett.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 7, 2012 from 4:00 until the 7:30PM funeral service at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha. Rev.
