Kenneth M. “Ken” Vondross of the town of Waukesha, died Friday, November 23, 2018 at Kensington Care and Rehab Center at the age of 88. He was born in Waukesha on September 11, 1930, the son of James and Elizabeth (nee Echtner) Vondross. He was the proud owner of K.V. Builders and was a longtime member of Waukesha Elks Lodge #400. On August 14, 1993 he married the former Judith Krosnicki at St. Anthony on the Lake in Pewaukee. Ken was an avid boater, golfer, enjoyed traveling the world, scuba diver and loved dogs. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Judith of the town of Waukesha, sons Kenley (Mary Jo) Vondross of Oconomowoc and Kerry (Melodie) Vondross of Green Lake. He is further survived by his step-daughter Barbara (Ron) Fladwood of Pewaukee, 12 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, nieces Heidi St. Louis and Ronaele Rupert, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife Carol and his brothers Royce and James.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until the 7:00 p.m. Elks Lodge of Sorrow Service at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave. in Waukesha. Visitation continues on Thursday, November 29 from 9:00 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. funeral Mass at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd. in Waukesha. Entombment will take place on Thursday at Prairie Home Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.
