Kimberly Ilean Walendowski of Waukesha passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at the age of 55. She was born in Waukesha on September 22, 1964 the daughter of Alan and B. June (Hall) McKenzie. On August 7, 1993 she married Mark Walendowski. Kimberly had a zest for adventure and exploring. She could often be found tinkering around antique stores or learning more about history by walking around an old building or visiting a new town. Kimberly was always on the go and enjoyed geocaching and motorcycle rides in the country with her husband Mark. She had a love for baking, especially with her grandchildren who she loved more than anything.
She will be forever missed by her loving and devoted husband of 26 years, Mark, her cherished children, Brian (Analyn) Metzger, Andrea Metzger and Kristin Metzger and adored grandchildren, Lorelei, Mika-el, Jordan, Madelyn, Madyson, Gabriella and Andrea. She is further survived by her siblings, Michael (Kathy) McKenzie, Kathryn McKenzie, Jesse McKenzie, father-in-law David Walendowski, sisters-in-law Lynn (Sheldon) Scheel and Tracy Walendowski along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and mother-in-law Jean Walendowski.
A time to greet family and friends and celebrate the life of Kimberly will be held on Friday, March 6, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha.
