Kristin “Krisy” M. Ruethling (nee Edenharder) of Waukesha passed away peacefully into Eternal Life at AngelsGrace Hospice on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at the age of 42. She was born in Waukesha on May 27, 1976 the daughter of George and Joan (nee Hayes) Edenharder. Krisy attended Waukesha North High School and then graduated in 1994 as part of the first graduating class of Waukesha West High School. She went on to earn her bachelor’s degree from Carroll College and her master’s degree in teaching from Mount Mary University. On July 11, 2009 she married her beloved husband, Eric Ruethling at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Genesee Depot. As a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Krisy enjoyed participating in the bereavement ministry. Krisy enjoyed traveling, photography and being outdoors. She delighted in making holidays special, giving thoughtful gifts, and planning get-togethers with her family and many friends. Most of all, her greatest joy was being a wife and mother to her two young daughters whom she loved dearly.
She will be sadly missed by her loving and devoted husband of 9 years, Eric of Waukesha and their two cherished daughters, Emma and Anna, her proud and loving parents, George and Joan Edenharder of Waukesha, her dear sister and best friend, Katie (Eric) Lemm of Waukesha, her father-in-law and mother-in-law Jim and Pat Ruethling of Port Washington, her sisters-in-law, Kristin (Eric) Dufek of Fox Point and Gretchen (Carlos Dorta-Quiñones) Ruethling-Dorta of Boston, her beloved nieces and nephews, Ellie, Jack, Jessie, Cassie, Caleb, Isaac, Megan, Julia, Lucas and Clara and her aunt Pat Edenharder of Helenville. She is further survived by cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha. Visitation continues at St. Paul’s Catholic Church (corner of Hwy D and Hwy 83 in Genesee Depot) Wednesday, August 22nd from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. followed by the funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Graveside services will follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery.
