Larry Jones

Lifelong Waukesha resident, Larry Jones, age 87, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024 He was born on August 10, 1937 one of ten children born to William and Roseanna (nee Leair) Jones. Larry was employed as a firefighter and paramedic for the City of Waukesha. He was one of the first paramedics in the city and was an instructor for the EMT program at WCTC. Larry was a state champion boxer, he loved woodworking and tinkering in his basement and was very proud of all his grandchildren. He was a longtime member of St Joseph Catholic Church. On October 20, 1956 he married Barbara Eileen Campbell, she preceded him in death on October 12, 2023.

He is loved and survived by his children, Deborah (Arlen) Meidenbauer, Steven (Cathy) Jones, Marlin Jones, LuAnn (Peter) Zimmer; his dear grandchildren, Sarah (Ryan) Schram, Matthew Meidenbauer, Christopher Meidenbauer, Georgeann Jones, Evelyn Zimmer and Nicholas Zimmer.

He was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 67 years, Barbara Eileen Jones, and his nine siblings, William, Victor, Edward, Raymond, Fred, Dan, Phillip, Allen and Ethel Martin.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024 from 11:00 AM until the 1:00 PM funeral service at Randle-Dable Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave Waukesha, WI 53186. Interment and Military Honors will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
